Today is a new week at 365 cards! That means a Sunday sketch challenge! The sketch today was this one:
Today Nichole also began Papertrey Ink’s 5th Anniversary festivities. Since I almost stalk the PTI design team in cyberspace and the day 1 lucky winner package included soo many of my favorites, how could I not join in the festivities??
So this card combines the 365 sketch with my inspiration for PTI’s challenge – Lisa Johnson’s card. I like kraft, rustic cream, twine and script backgrounds. Looks like so does Lisa! Her favorite project incorporated all these so it was perfect for me to case.
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI rustic cream, PTI kraft, Studio Calico Memoir patterned paper
Accessories: Baker’s twine, Jolee’s Boutique flower stickers
Stamp: PTI All booked up, SU sentiment
Ink: PTI true black
Ink: PTI true black
One unfortunate happened while I was working on this. I ran out of dimensionals! AND I ran out of my 3D tape!! Did I give up on it? Nope! I made my own dimensional by folding up some bits of kraft cardstock. Did this for both, the sentiment and the stamped image.
Here is a quick pic of my improvised dimensional:

Thanks for looking! Hope you enjoyed it!
what a wonderful card!!! Love the twine and the kraft on it!!! Very pretty!!!!Thanks for leaving the sweet comment on my blog, I just used some old Stampin Up craft colored pencils to color in my image and then used a blender pen to make them softer, most of the time I used water color pencils and then the blender pen to fill it in, but I couldn’t find mine when I was making my card. hope that helps. have a great day!!!
