Even more storm

Continuing some more with the parade of this week’s 365 cards. I sure am making up for missing posting on Friday, aren’t I? 🙂

365 Cards Day 338 – Brad Bonanza

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI enchanted evening, Echo Park Happy Days
Accessories: Sugar brads, white brads, PTI enchanted evening ribbon
Stamp: PTI Happy Trails
Tools: Silhouette Cameo
Ink: PTI true black

This was my last card right before lunch today. I went with a CAS look for this to finish it quickly but nicely. I cut the flowers from a file from the Silhouette store on my Cameo. The photo doesn’t capture this clearly but the petals are all raised up while the outline of the flowers is glued to the card.

This challenge called for using 10 or more brads on the card. 10 brads!! I have trouble using one let alone 10! But I did it 🙂 3 for the flower centers and 7 on the ribbon. I’m glad I used a patterned paper that had a grid because I didn’t have to measure separately for the ribbon brads 😛

This one was done on Thursday! Here is my post about it if you haven’t read it yet – Groundhog Day

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI pure poppy, GP 110, SEI Promise Me
Accessories: Prima mulberry roses, Prima rhinestone flourish
Stamp: PTI happy trails
Tools: Silhouette Cameo
Ink: PTI fresh snow
I love Shelly’s blog for her lovely creations but also for all the amazing ways she finds to use her Cameo. Her latest creation was my inspiration for this card and I chose to case it. I felt that pairing a Cameo cut with a patterned background would make an interesting abstract background for the card overall. Added the PTI sentiment, some Prima roses and some bling to finish it up. Another neat VDay card done!

This one also goes for Simply Create Too’s RED HOT challenge this week.
