Its been a while since I used my Cuttlebug. I had kind of neglected it in favor of the Cameo mainly because I used my Cuttlebug for diecuts and I didn’t have a good collection of embossing folders. Today I went on a little shopping spree and got myself some embossing folders.
After the Belleek card, I loved the musical swirls folder so much that I decided to make another card with it. This one goes to the newest challenge on CAS-ual Fridays.
Here is the sketch we had to use as the basis for the card:
And here is my card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink rustic cream, Michaels gold
Accessories: Michaels sheer gold ribbon
Tools: Cuttlebug, Musical swirls A2 embossing folder, Silhouette Cameo
Pen: Chomas Creations gold gel pen
I went with a white and gold theme to give the card a rich, elegant look.
If you look closely, you will see that the white background here is embossed as well. This uses the same embossing folder as the Belleek card – musical swirls. The tag is cut on my Cameo and I wrote out the sentiment since none of my stamps were small enough to fit on the oval 🙂
Perfect for a wedding congrats card!
Very pretty card.
