More V-Day Cards

I have 2 more V-Day cards to show so far.

This first is for a “Ways to use it” challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. Specifically this one – WT359

We had to make a card using any 2 “Ways to use it” challenges from the past year. I chose

Here is the card I made. I cut the mug using my Cameo and colored it with Tombow water markers. The froth, heart and steam are all done with the Sakura souffle pens to give a solid look on dark paper. I didn’t have a stamp for the sentiment I wanted so decided to write it out 🙂

Supplies:
Cardstock: Kraft from Papertrey Ink, Georgia Pacific 110
Pens: Tombow markers, Sakura Souffle, Chomas Creations red glitter pens
Accessories: Inchies
Tools: Silhouette Cameo

My second card isn’t going to any challenges 🙂 But it follows the theme of this post  – smart sayings for V-Day!

Cut the brush on my Cameo them outlined it in black gel pen. Colored it with my Tombow markers. For the palette, I cut it twice – once with the color holes and once without. Colored the lower layer with Tombow and adhered the upper layer with dimensionals to give it a 3D look. Again wrote out the sentiment but this time I remembered a bit too late that it was part of PTI’s Happy Trails stamp set which I had :O

Supplies:
Cardstock: Kraft from Papertrey Ink, Basic Grey Porcelain 6X6
Pens: Tombow markers, Sakura Souffle, Chomas Creations pink glitter pens, Tim Holtz Tattered Rose distress ink
